According to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com Rivers United forward Bernard Ovoke is in Norway for trials with Lillestroem.
The speedy ace who has 8 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) left the shores of Nigeria for Norway three days back for trials with the team that recently sold Nigerian forward Friday Fred to AZ Alkmaar.
Ovoke will replace Fred if he impresses the team handlers during his trials that is scheduled to run for two weeks with three test games lined up for the forward to feature in.
Presently Kano Pillars ace Ifeanyi Matthew is in talks with the club as well and the duo will join Innocent Bonke at the club if they eventually secure deals with the 11th placed team in the Eliteserien.
