According to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com, English Premiership giants Liverpool will in the coming days offer fresh terms to Nigerian wonderkid Ovie Ejaria as well as a new shirt number.
Ejaria is set to be given a pay rise by Liverpool following his fine performances for the team in pre season game which has drawn praises from people within and outside the club.
18 year old Ejaria who also made the team’s tour party to the USA will most likely swap shirt number to a senior squad number from his present jersey number 53 as he is set to be main stay in the first team.
” Preliminary talks have taken place over a new contract but nothing has been proposed yet maybe in the coming days and his current shirt number has also been talked about but we wait and see if he will change it before the start of the season” A source close to the player told Owngoalnigeria.com.
The departure of Joe Allen to Liverpool has further brightened his chances of having games with the first team next season as manager Jurgen Klopp has already confirmed that he won’t be loaned out.
