FC Porto sixth Nigerian acquisition Samuel Chukwueze has resumed training with the Portuguese side at the prestigious Centro De Treinos e Formacao Desportiva PortoGaia.
The left footed ace who was one of the stars for Nigeria during the last Under-17 World Youth Championship, which Nigeria won in Chile has progressed to the U-20s, who failed to qualify for next year Africa Youth Championship.
Chukwueze was one of the bright spots in the team and despite their inability to qualify, the 17 year old covered himself in gold with his performances in the three qualifiers they played.
He was close to joining Arsenal alongside Kelechi Nwakali, but the move broke down following disagreement over transfer fee between the Gunners and his nursery team Diamond Academy.
His career path in Portugal will be the same as FC Porto loanee Chidera Ezeh, who spent time with the U-18s of the Portuguese side before making a loan move to Portimonense before the start of this season.
