Failed Liverpool target Jacob Njoku has joined Israeli top division side Kiryat Shmona from second division side Beitar Tel Aviv Ramla, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
The former FC Porto trainee had trials with Liverpool early this year but while the Reds were exploring ways to sign hin, he moved to Israel where he has blossomed at Beitar Tel Aviv Ramla.
Njoku joined Beitar Tel Aviv Ramla in the summer but after a string of strong performances particularly in the last three months, he has made the step up to the first league in Israel.
The duration and term of his contract with Kiryat Shmona were not made available to Owngoalnigeria.com as at the time of filing in this report.
