On loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo was conspicuously absent when his loan side Alanyaspor were thrashed 1-4 by Besiktas in a Monday night game played in the Turkish top flight league.
Omeruo who has been ever present for Alanyaspor this season was heavily linked to Besiktas in the summer, but ended up at his present team after a breakdown in talks between Chelsea and the Turkish giants.
Yesterday he missed out on a big chance to show Besiktas what they were missing as he wasn’t listed for action in the 1-4 hammering his team suffered at home against his former suitors.
23 year old Omeruo missed the game due to accumulated bookings picked up in the 12 games he has played this season, where he has shown his versatility by moving to defence midfield from his traditional role as a central defender.
The Super Eagles hardman has been booked four times this season, with the cautions coming in games against Adanaspor, Kasimpasa, Karabukspor and last weekend tie against Rizespor.
