Former Schalke 04 striker Victor Agali says coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr has to be wary of mafia springing up in the camp of the Super Eagles,because it could lead to his downfall as coach of the team.
Rohr is yet to taste defeat since taking charge of the Super Eagles of Nigeria with the friendly game against Senegal, the only game he has drawn in the four games he has handled the team.
Agali who represented Nigeria at U-23 and senior level however warns the manager to put his sight on cliques emerging in the team, so it won’t destroy the team spirit.
” I urge Rohr to work more on the unity of the team. Players love keeping caucus whenever they are on national team duty.
” I’m saying this base on experience. I urge the technical crew to keep close watch on the way some of the upcoming or home based will be treated compared to the big goon’s in the team. Failure to do this will be very dangerous “, he told Sports Village Square.
