Newly capped Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Mikel Agu arrived Paris with the Nigeria team ahead of their friendly game against Togo on the 1st of June.
The defensive midfielder has a lot to be cheerful for this morning aside making his debut for Nigeria yesterday in their 1-1 draw against Corsica , as he turns 24 today.
Last night he put up a performance above average as the Super Eagles forced Corsica to a 1-1 draw, a game he dominated the midfield for his team with his ability to turn defence into attack earning him praises from coach Gernot Rohr.
He is expected to fight for a spot in the team for the clash against Togo, where a strong performance could see him gatecrash the squad for the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa in Uyo.
