The agent of FC Porto Nigerian defender Chidozie Awaziem has refused to rule out a move to French Ligue 1 side Nantes following news of their interest in the recently capped Nigerian international.
Awaziem is being courted by the French side as part of FC Porto deal to sign their coach Sergio Conceiao, with the French side proposing a loan deal with the option of buying him permanently after a season.
20 year old Awaziem is in the camp of the Nigeria senior national team preparing for their AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa, but Owngoalnigeria.com reached out to his agent Babawo Mohammed who refused to deny the interest from the French side.
” I spoke with my partner yesterday, and he informed me about interest from a team, but we will get to know better by next week after the international weekend”, Babawo told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” Aside Nantes which you mentioned some other French teams have also table offers for him after watching him in two games for the senior Nigeria team, but you know he is under contract with Porto. So they will have the final say”.
