Manager of Arsenal Arsene Wenger welcomed Nigerian teen prospect Kelechi Nwakali by having a snap shot with the 18 year old upon his arrival in London yesterday for pre season training.
Nwakali spent last season on loan to Dutch side MVV Maastricht, where he emerged as one of the stars of the team with five man of the match award despite the disappointment they suffered at the end of last season as they failed to gain promotion to the top flight.
The Nigerian is tipped to go out on another loan deal, but for the main time he will train with Arsenal who have already resumed for pre season training, and he could possibly make the trip to Australia with the team for their first pre season game.
He is expected to take part in today’s training session which will could have an impact on his chances of joining the team for the trip to Australia, where new signing Saed Kolasinac is expected to make his debut.
