Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich thanks to a late goal from Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi, before going on to win the tie 3-2 after penalty.
Robert Lewandoski gave Bayern the lead in the 9th minutes from the spot. A score the Germans hanged onto the half time break , thanks to the efforts of Arsenal shot stopper Peter Cech.
Cech was on hand to make more saves to keep Arsenal in the game , before Iwobi drew the gunners level in the 93rd minute to preserve Arsenal unbeaten run in pre season games.
Arsenal went on to edge the game 3-2 on penalty much to the delight of manager Arsene Wenger who reckoned the late goal from Iwobi gave them the win.
