After a superb start to life in Belgium following his move from Ukraine side Zorya, Dennis Bonaventure says he wants to be top scorer and best player in Belgium at the end of this season.
19 year old Dennis scored a brace on his debut for Club Brugge in their 4-0 win over Lokeren in what was their first league game of the season taking his tally to three goals in two games after his goal in the 3-3 draw against Istanbul Basaksehir in the Europa League.
“It was a great start to the season for Brugge. An amazing one, I’m happy we are going back with the 3 points. I’m happy. The last game was really disappointing so for us winning this one was important “, he said.
One his aspirations this season, the Nigerian who horned his skills in the famous Football College Abuja says he wants to win the two best individual awards in the league. The top scorer and the most valuable player of the year award.
“I want to be top scorer in the league, yes and maybe also the best player too”, he said.
