On loan Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi won’t be making his bow for his loan side Mouscron this evening when they take on Charleroi in their second league game in Belgium.
Awoniyi joined the top flight side earlier this week on a season long loan deal but coach Mircea Rednic didn’t include him in his 18 man squad for the visit of Charleroi later tonight.
The reason why the 19 year old was left out of the squad according to sources close to the player is not related to his abilities as a footballer, rather on administrative grounds following his move to Belgium.
He is yet to be issued a work permit which will qualify him to play in Belgium but the club are confident he will be issued one before their next league game next weekend.
