Club Brugge summer signing Dennis Bonaventure is proving to be a shrewd acquisition by the Belgium side with another team of the week nomination to his name after the third round of league games in Belgium.
Popularly referred to as “Nigerian Neymar ” the 19 year old who joined the Belgian side from Ukrainian outfit Zorya in the summer found the back of the net over the weekend in their 3-1 win over Eupen.
The goal was his 4th goal in four matches for the team, with one assist to his name as well this season. His nomination for the team of the week didn’t come as a surprise to many.
Blessed with an eye for goal and explosive pace, the ex Football Academy Abuja trainee is widely tipped to win the player of the month in Belgium, as he has twice made the team of the week during the month under review.
