Coach of first divison Norwegian side Viking has provided an update on the fate of the two Nigerian players namely Christian Pyagbara and Sikiru Alimi who are currently on trial at the club.
The duo of Pyagbara and Alimi were picked from Akwa United and Sunshine Stars respectively for trials by the club where two other Nigerians Samuel Adegbenro and Usman Sale currently play.
Ian Burchall revealed the duo who have been at the club for two weeks are going to be asses further this week, before a decision will be taken on offering them a contract or not.
” We want to see both of them this week again, so far we think they both have potential. In my opinion they have been good in training, even though it’s not easy to come here and show what you’re good at on a weekly basis’, Burchall said.
“If we decide to go for them, we won’t expect them to go on and dominate like Adegbenro did. They are players we will hope come good for us in the future”.
