Arsenal and Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Alex Iwobi says Chelsea wing back Victor Moses is the best Nigerian player in the English Premier League .
Iwobi made this known during an interview on Arsenal TV monitored by Owngoalnigeria.com Michael James. The 22 year old also spoke on the chances of Nigeria making an impression at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
When asked about who is the best Nigerian player in the Premier League, Iwobi struggled to pick out a name but eventually settled for Chelsea ace Victor Moses despite praising the talents of the other Nigerians in the league.
” I don’t know, there are few young players that are good. There’s Victor Moses, Ahmed Musa , Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac Success, I don’t know it depends on everybody’s opinion”, he said.
” I will say Victor Moses because he is being there the longest,established he is always there week in, week out. That’s my choice”.
Speaking on if the Super Eagles are good enough for World Cup glory, Iwobi who is in the Nigeria squad for their upcoming World Cup 2018 Qualifiers against Cameroon said Nigeria have a team that can compete at the world at the World Cup.
” I think Nigeria can compete at the World Cup, our team is young, We’ve got some experience players as well. Yes the team is really doing well. I think we will do well”.
