Partizan Belgrade latest acquisition Theophilus Solomon has dumped the number 17 jersey he initially picked at the club when he was unveiled two weeks ago.
Solomon joined the Serbian giants on a one year loan from Croatian side HNK Rijeka and will be expected to help the team in their quest to do well both in the Europa League and their various domestic assignments.
The 21 year old who scored 11 goals for Croatian side Istra where he played on loan last season initially picked the number 17 jersey, but has switched to a new number few days ago.
Solomon will now wear the shirt number 77 at the club, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal. His new shirt number was same number won by the club legend Ivica Iliev who presented Solomon with his legendary number 17 jersey when he was unveiled.
