Former captain of the Nigeria U17 and 20 national team Musa Mohammed has temporary escaped the nightmare of being frozen out at Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir.
Musa who is yet to play a league game for the team since joining them three years ago was yesterday announced by Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Plodiv as their latest acquisition for the season.
He will spend six months on loan with the Bulgarian side in his bid to finally make his mark in European football after a not too successful loan stint with Bosnian side Zeljeznicar in the second half of last season.
The FC Heart product managed only nine appearance coming on as a substitute in most of the games he played, and also playing as a left full back as opposed to his preferred role as a right full back.
20 year old Musa was once upon a time viewed as one of the brightest prospect in Nigerian football after leading the U17 to World Cup glory in 2013 and also captaining the U20 in 2015.
Although he has two senior national team caps for Nigeria, his club form has not helped his cause to establish himself as an option in the right full back slot of the Super Eagles and he now finds himself below the likes of Shehu Abdullahi, Tyrone Ebuehi and Ola Aina in the pecking order.
