The vice-captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Eddy Onazi has made a miraculous recovery from the injury he picked up in Nigeria’s 1-0 win over Zambia in their last World Cup 2018 Qualifiers.
Onazi went off injured midway into the first half after injuring himself in his bid to whip in a cross from the right of Zambia goal in the game which sealed Nigeria’s passage to the World Cup.
Coach Gernot Rohr said the injury looked like a hamstring pull and said he expected the Trabzonspor midfielder to be out for at least one month, but Onazi announced his full recovery via his social media handle.
I feel so good and blessed to be back sooner than expected. All thanks to the medical team. Next game on my mind. πͺπΏπ΄π΅ππΎ

His return to full fitness means he is now available for selection for Nigeria when they take on Algeria in a dead rubber World Cup 2018 Qualifiers tie in Algiers on the 10th of November.
