Highly rated AS Roma Nigerian right back Nura Abdullahi will join Italian Serie B side Perugia on loan for the rest of the season, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Nura who recently extended his contract at Roma is yet to play a first team game for the Serie A side, no thanks to injuries and a surgery he underwent to correct a minor heart defect.
This season he has been part of the matchday squad for 8 Serie A games, but same fitness issues that have slowed his progress at the club has also played a role in him not making his debut.
The 20 year old full back was tipped for a return to Serie B side Spezia, but according to his Nigerian representative a move to Perugia is what Roma prefers for his career growth.

Comfortable as a right back or winger, Nura will be expected to play a role in helping 14th placed Perugia push for a promotion play off spot at the end of the season.
Presently Perugia are four points away from 8th placed Spezia, who are currently occupying the final promotion play off spot in the Serie B after 22 games.
