Coach of the B team of the Nigeria national team Salisu Yusuf has revealed the line up for today’s friendly game against Europa League champions Atletico Madrid at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Enugu Rangers goalkeeper Femi Thomas got the nod to start in goal with Lobi Stars left back Ebube Dure and on loan Istanbul Basaksehir man Musa Muhammed playing as full back. Olamilekan Adeleye of FC Ifeanyi Ubah got the nod to start in central defence alongside Chinedu Ajanah.
Salisu picked Arsenal youngster Kelechi Nwakali who spent last season on loan to VVV Venlo before switching to MVV Maastricht in the second half of the season to start alongside his elder brother Chidiebere Nwakali who was on loan to Aberdeen of Scotland from Man City in the recently concluded season.
Alhassan Ibrahim popularly referred to as Muazam was also named in the four man midfield that also has Sunshine Stars hard man Dayo Ojo. In attack Kasimpasa of Turkey forward Emem Eduok starts upfront alongside Lobi Stars Samad Kadiri.
