Henty Ezekiel is slowly becoming famous for his attitude of moving switching clubs as he has played for ten different teams within a space of six years following his recent move to Croatian side NK Osijek.
The 25 year old started his career at famous Nigerian Academy Flying Sports Academy from where he secured a high profile move to AC Milan in 2012 . He was expected to progress through the ranks as he joined the U19s.
A year later he was loaned to Serie B side Spezia. He spent a season before moving on another loan deal to fellow Serie B side Perugia the next year. ND Gorica of Slovenia where his next loan club as AC Milan continue to hope he will grow to his potential by playing games.
A fairly successful season in Slovenia with Gorica sparked interest in his services from league giants NK Olimpija and Milan didn’t hesitate to trade him off permanently for a fee in the region of €150,000.
At NK Olimpija he became the poster boy of the league in his only season at the club and it didn’t come as a surprise to many when he secured a high profile move to Russian giants Lokomotiv Moscow for a fee of around €750,000.
A combination of injuries and poor form led to an inglorious goal drought which made him move to UAE side Baniyas as he bid to return to top form and shape. Although he scored couple of goals, the club still didn’t consider it good enough to hand him a permanent deal.
Last year Lokomotiv Moscow decided to let him leave for Hungary when Videoton FC offered them a fee belived to be in the region of €1m for his services. A fee which helped them recoup some of their spending on the striker.
Six months later he left Videoton on loan for Puskas AFC in same league in Hungary and upon his return from his loan spell, he joined Croatian side NK Osijek officially three days ago.
Aside when he found the back of the net 8 times in 21 games for Olimpija his goal tally for his other clubs have not been more than five and that only happened twice in his last three season while turning out for Baniyas and Videoton.
The poor goal return means he has scored just 31 goals for the nine clubs he has played for since his move to AC U19 in 2012. He will however be hoping to hit the ground running when he finally gets to play for Osijek.
