One time record signing of English Premier League side Watford Isaac Success is close to agreeing a loan move to English Championship side Aston Villa, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Success has failed to nail down a regular spot in the Watford team since his big money move from LaLiga side Granada as he has struggled for form and fitness due to issues ranging from injuries to poor personal lifestyle.
He spent the second half of last season on loan to Spanish side Malaga, who were eventually relegated from the top division in Spain and since his return to Watford he has impressed in pre season games.
His return to fitness was praised by the coach of Watford Xavi Gracia but even at that it appears the coach has no spot for him in his immediate plans and he is willing to send him on loan to the Championship outfit.
Aston Villa are warming up to the prospect of losing Jack Grealish to a Premier League team before the close of the transfer window on Thursday in England, hence their decision to line up Success as a replacement as cover for his expected departure.
