Plateau United forward Tosin Omoyele is back in Nigeria after a sojourn abroad where he first trained with Norwegian side Stabaek and later Swedish side IFK Goteborg before rounding his stay in Europe with another Norwegian side in Valerenga.
Omoyele who is widely regarded as one of the best forward in the Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL) made an impression at the three teams but didn’t sign due to various reasons outside his abilities on the pitch.
At Stabaek, the 21 year old was due to play a friendly game as part of his trials but left a day after he wasn’t featured in the game to Swedish side Goteborg following news of a potential break down during negotiations with Stabaek.
At Goteborg, he was supposed to do a short trial but after the club announced their happiness at having him train with the team in view of bagging a deal, two days later he was back in Norway, this time around at Valerenga.
He impressed at Valerenga but the club decided against signing him now but did confirm to the fair skinned forward that they will get back to him in January 2019, Owngoalnigeria.com exclusively gathered from sources close to the deal.
