The decision to leave the Chanchung Yatai forward out of the squad for the game was agreed between the coach and the player as it will be in his best interest at least for now.
Ighalo was largely blamed by Nigerians for the 1-2 loss against Argentina which cost them a spot in the round of 16 at the World Cup, and Rohr is wary of the fact that his invitation for the Eagles first game after the World Cup will be met with discerning voices.
