Owngoalnigeria.com has reliably gathered that Trabzonspor midfielder Ogenyi Onazi is in the Super Eagles squad for their upcoming African Cup of Nations Qualifiers game against Seychelles.
As at yesterday they were doubts over his inclusion in the list of players for the game but he however made the list for the game, which will be released later today by coach Gernot Rohr.
” Onazi is in the list, his exclusion from the list isn’t true. It was a rumour which was started by some individuals with vested interest but all is well between Rohr and Onazi “, a team source told Owngoalnigeria.com.
Since the start of the season, Onazi who didn’t play a single minute for Nigeria at the World Cup 2018 in Russia has so far played the entire duration of both games for Trabzonspor.
Coach Rohr will be hoping he maintain same for the Super Eagles against Seychelles with the Eagles needing to win after losing their opening qualifiers game 0-2 against South Africa in Uyo.
