One of the stars of the 2015 Nigeria U17 team David Enogela has joined Ukrainian Premier League side Olimpik Donestk, the club has announced in a statement on their official website.
The hard working defensive midfielder was a part of the all conquering Nigerian U17 team at the 2015 World Youth Championship alongside the likes of Kelechi Nwakali, Victor Osimhen, Orji Okonkwo, Kingsley Michael among others.
He joins the club on a four year deal after a successful period on trial from Young Stars Football Academy in Nigeria and he will immediately push for a spot in the main team although he will spend his initial stay with the club with the youth team.
Injury kept the highly rated 20 year old out of football for a little over a year and it cost him a move to Belgium side Club Brugge. He proved his return to full fitness in training with the Ukrainian side before they finally decided to sign him.
