Former Nigeria youth international Samuel Chukwueze was handed his first start in the Europa League as Villarreal scored a penalty in stoppage time to draw 3-3 against Spartak Moscow away from home.
Chukwueze started on the right of a four man midfield for the La Liga side and he didn’t look out of place despite playing in only his second professional game after making his bow against Scottish side Rangers two weeks ago.
He was involved in the build up to the second goal scored by Villarreal but watch helplessly from the bench as Spartak Moscow battled back from going behind twice to take a 3-2 lead with a goal five minutes from full time.
