Villarreal Nigeria international forward Samuel Chukwueze has emerged as the most sought after teen in world football after a pool conducted by online Spanish football portal, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Chukwueze has taken the La Liga by storm this season with impressive displays in the Europa League as well and as expected it has affected his market demand with several teams now eyeing the 19 year old.
In the survey Chukwueze was picked ahead of other teens in world football mainly due to the fact that his current deal with Villarreal will expire at the end of the season although Villarreal have the option of triggering an extension.
His current buy out clause is pegged a little above €10m a fee which can be easily matched by interested teams if he fails to agree fresh terms with the Yellow Submarines before the expiration of his current deal.
All attempts to have him sign an extension has been turned down by his management team but recent reports indicate that talks over a fresh five year deal is progressing nicely with the new deal set to carry a hefty buy out clause.
