Al Ittihad striker George Ilenikhena who recently agreed to pledge his international future to Nigeria rather than wait for France is keen on a return to Europe, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Ilenikhena moved to Saudi Arabia in January from Ligue 1 side Monaco but has found it really tough finding his feet due to injuries and fitness concerns.
Now back to his best physical shape, he is closely followed by clubs in Turkey, the Netherlands and Germany.
In January shortly before moving to Al Ittihad, Frankfurt and Stuttgart were closely monitoring his situation at Monaco and a return can’t be ruled out at the moment.
It is believed that the Saudi side won’t stay in the way of the 19 year old, but will prefer a loan deal over an outright sale with their faith in him still very strong like when he first arrived.
