Nigeria U20 winger Sani Suleiman is closing in on a move away from German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig six months after joining them from Slovakia side AS Trencin, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
The 19 year old was signed for €5m in January, but it appears he will be leaving the club before the close of the ongoing summer transfer window for Al-Qadsiah of Saudi Arabia.
RB Leipzig are said to be negotiating his transfer for a fee in the region of €8m including bonuses, and Sani is said to be open to the move where he will earn much more than his present monthly wage.
Under contract with RB Leipzig until 2031, all parties involved are working to seal the deal before the window closes in around 72 hours time, with a medical likely to take place in Germany if all is settled.
A member of the U20 team of Nigeria to the last World Cup, he is also in the list of foreign players penciled for a call up to the U23 team of Nigeria by head coach Eric Chelle, who also doubles as the coach of the senior team.
