Villarreal are not taking any chances regarding the valuation of their Nigerian sensation Samuel Chukwueze with the club set to improve his buy out clause in the new contract proposed to the left footed player, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Chukwueze’s initial release clause upon his signing two seasons ago was pegged at a €25m but the club activated the option of extending his contract after his first full season with the B team of the club and his subsequent progress to the first team.
His release clause now stands at €65m but the club are looking at ways to increase it by offering him fresh terms which will further extend his stay at the club and talks have already started in that direction.
Owngoalnigeria.com exclusively gathered that the new representative of the forward will study the new deal but won’t rush into signing it because of interest already shown in the 20 year old from clubs in England, where he has dream of playing after a failed move to Arsenal in 2016.
