Sunshine Stars of Akure midfield Chaona Shamsudeen has joined Tunisia giants Esperance on a three year deal.
The 19 year old who hails from Benin Republic was registered on Thursday by the Tunisia Federation and will most likely make his debut for the team this weekend in their league game against Avenir de La Marsa.
Last season little was heard about him as he was upstaged by names like Tunde Adeniji,Seun Olulayo,Dayo Ojo and Dele Olorundare at the Owena Waves.
He won’t be short of Nigerian counterparts at the team as they presently have Bernard Bulbwa and Emem Eduok on their payroll although the latter might soon be sold due to disciplinary issues.
Esperance are currently placed third on the log in Tunisia two points behind leaders Etoile du Sahel.
