As exclusively reported by Owngoalnigerian.com former Nigeria U-20 star Michael Olaitan has completed his move to Belgium side Kortrijk.
The deal to take the Nigerian on loan was concluded on Friday after his loan with Dutch side FC Twente was terminated midway into the season as confirmed by the team technical director Ted Van Leeuwen.
“We had an agreement in the loan deal we had with Olympiakos that Michael could return by January and his stay here have not been beneficial to both parties so it’s best we go our seperate ways” He said.
23 year old Olaitan yesterday had a routine medical test and will be presented to the media on Monday once his papers are sorted out.
He will be hoping to help Kortrijk beat the drop to the second division in Belgium before returning back to Olympiakos where he still has 18 months to run on his deal.
