The Super Eagles of Nigeria are now 12th in Africa but 63rd in the world in the latest ranking released by world football governing body (FIFA), an improvement on their last month rankings.
In the month under review Nigeria amassed 543 points to move up three places ahead of their cup of Nation must win double header against Egypt in March.
Cote d’ivoire still remained Africa number one team even though they dropped by 9 places in the global ranking to place 28 in the world after picking up just 828 points in the month under review with Cape Verde Island now second in Africa moving up six places to place 33rd in the world.
Algeria,Ghana,Senegal,Tunisia,Congo,Egypt,Congo Dr and Guinea completes Africa top 10 ranked team with Cameroun and Nigeria missing out on a spot in the top 10 as they are placed 11th and 12th respectively.
