1. He is a practicing muslim from the South West region of Nigeria, Oyo state precisely but was born in Lagos State Nigeria on the 15th of April 1991
2. Started playing professional football in Nigeria in 2008 when he joined Sunshine Stars.
3. He got married to Ololade on the 23rd of December 2013 and believes marriage made him a changed man which helped him win the highest goal scorer award in the Nigeria Premier League last season.
4.The last season top scorer with 17 goals in the Nigeria Premier League was reportedly close to joining English Premier League side Aston Villa on trial but wasn’t issue a visa on time.
5. Prior to joining KuPs of Finland he was presented by Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa and Partizan Belgrade of Serbia but left both teams without kicking a ball as his contract was terminated.
6. He played for Sunshine Stars,Shooting Stars,Enyimba and Warri Wolves in the Nigeria Premier league on loan as his economic rights remained with Lagos based FAME Academy.
7.In 2010 while playing for his hometown club Shooting Stars he was given a two game suspension for indecent goal celebration as after scoring he celebrated in front of the Sunshine Stars bench and was also accused of trying to attack then Sunshine Stars coach Gbenga Ogunbote, the coach who sent him parking from Sunshine Stars.
8. Till date he holds the record of the highest number of caps (13) for a forward base at home in the Nigeria senior national team since the turn of the century.
9. He is popularly called Nigeria Balotelli by the football family in Nigeria but close friends call him Faud.
10. Standing at 1.83 meters in height none of the 17 goals that made him top scorer was scored with his head.
