Christian Obiazor will miss Enyimba’s tie with Vital’O of Burundi this weekend in Porthacourt.
The frontman is yet to recover from the injury that has kept him out of the team’s activities the last three months since they resumed for the new season.
They will now rely on Mfon Udoh who scored both goals for them in their tie against Vipers of Uganda two weeks ago to help them progress to this round.
Enyimba two time winners of the Champions League need to secure a healthy first leg advantage at their adopted home in Porthacourt before the return leg in Burundi.
Although goal scoring has been an issue for the team defender John Uche reckons they also have to defend tightly as well.
“We have to score goals no doubt but at the same time we also need to make sure we don’t concede am so confident we will be able to achieve both at the end of the game on Sunday”.
