The never ending drag between the camp of Chris Giwa and Amaju Pinnick lead Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) took a different turn this evening when the aggrieved faction of Giwa tried to re-enlist the case at a court in Jos.

Chris Giwa is still insisting he is the bonafide president of the NFF while Pinnick who currently heads the apex football body in Nigeria is arguing against his case.

An attempt by the country’s sport minister Solomon Dalung to broker peace between the warring parties ended in futility and the Giwa camp which earlier de-listed their case in court approached same court in Jos to relist the case of the illegality of the Pinnick lead board of the NFF.

Giwa’s camp argued they were asked by the former president to de-list the case based on some promises by the Pinnick lead faction of the NFF but none of the promise was fulfilled by Pinnick and co.

In their argument lawyer to the NFF, Festus Keyamo argued against the idea of re-listing the case saying no promise was made to Giwa’s camp before they agreed to delist the case.

The court adjourned the case till the 8th of April but asked the Giwa camp to pay some legal charges for the case to be re-listed and owngoalnigeria.com gathered they paid the fees.

Payment of the fees for re-listing of the case gave optimism to the Giwa camp that their prayer will be granted by the court.
