Former captain of Nigeria youth national team Lukman Haruna refused to reveal the reasons behind his failed move to Kazakhstan side Kairat.
Haruna recently joined another team in Kazakhstan in Astana as opposed to an exclusive carried on Owngoalnigeria.com on the 8th of March when we reported he has joined Kairat.
“Yes, I had some training with the club from Almaty, but along the line our negotiations reached an impasse, I would not like to comment on what lead to the collapse of the move as am now a player of Astana and want to do everything I can to help my team to do well” He told Sports.Kz
He is expected to make his debut this week for Astana and the former Monaco and Dynamo Kiev midfielder says it’s only after he has played in the league that he will speak about the strength of the competition in Kazakhstan.
