The agent to highly rated Lillestrom midfielder Ifeanyi Matthew has reacted to Owngoalnigeria.com exclusive on talks between his client and Belgium side Anderlecht.
Matthew is one of the top performers in the Norwegian League, and a source close to the player told this news portal that talks over a transfer to Belgium side Anderlecht is close to reaching a fruitful end.
However Owngoalnigeria.com senior editor Daniel Martins got in touch with Matthew’s intermediary Atta Aneke who revealed that links with Anderlecht are wide off the mark, despite the abilities of Matthew to play for the team.
