All players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria took part in their first training session held at their camp in Morocco ahead of their upcoming game against Algeria on Friday.
The players were put through their paces by coach Gernot Rohr and his assistants with the players starting the session with their usual warm up with and without the ball.
Later Ikechukwu Ezenwa had a session with the goalkeeper trainer who drilled the FC Ifeanyiubah shotstopper who was the only goalkeeper present in training as Daniel Akpeyi and Francis Odinaka Uzoho are still been expected.
Doubts over the fitness of two players who were not deemed to be partially fit was also laid to rest as the duo of Mikel Agu and John Ogu trained unscathed.
Ogu who recently returned from a two weeks injury lay off didn’t show any sign of lacking in fitness, while Agu who was substituted after picking a knock in Bursaspor’s league game over the weekend that lead to his substitution also taking part in the whole session.
