Crystal Palace are facing a battle on their hands to convince David Ozoh that he has a future at the club after his return from a very productive loan spell with English Championship side Derby County, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Ozoh has a year to go in his contract at the club , and has refused to enter into talks over an extension insisting on an exit, leaving the club with the problem of convincing him.
Now back and heavily involved in pre season training under new coach Pierre Sage, the 21 year old is not short of suitors, and if Palace fail to convince him on an extension he will be sold.
According to popular weekly newspaper The Standard, David Ozoh is on the shortlist of Bundesliga club 1.FC Köln.
Aside from the Cathedral City club, Olympique Marseille, Hull City, and Derby County have also reportedly expressed interest.
Although Marseille and Hull would likely offer a greater fee, the player and his representatives have not fully decided on his future yet.
Most recently, a transfer fee of around €5.8million was reportedly being discussed for Ozoh who spent last season on loan at Derby.
During that campaign, the Englishman featured 33 times in the EFL Championship and contributed two goals.
A form that caught the attention of the coach of Nigeria Eric Chelle who successfully convinced him to switch his nationality to Nigeria, despite representing England at youth level.
