New Super Eagles defender Abdullahi Bewene has emerged as one of the highly sought after players in the Czech Republic after his performances for Nigeria during the international break, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Bewene had a very impressive display against Poland in a friendly game for Nigeria and didn’t look out of place in what was his debut game. He followed it up with another strong showing against Portugal.
Now back at Banik Ostrava, we brought reports of the interest of French Ligue 1 side in having him join their ranks , and now Belgium side Gent have now join the race.
He still has interest from the top two teams in Czech Republic in Sparta Praha and Slavia Prague, but will first among all look for a move away before deciding on joining any of the aforementioned teams.
His representative was not immediately available to comment on the link, but he has told us in the past that they are dealing with multiple interests in the 21 year old since the start of the summer transfer window.
