Nigeria international striker Terem Moffi has reached agreement on personal terms to join German Bundesliga side Hamburg, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
According to “Hamburger Abendblatt” Hamburger SV are very close to signing Moffi from Nice. The transfers of the 27-year-old will be finalized in the foreseeable future, according to the local newspaper.
Already personal terms have been agreed with the player and both clubs are trashing out the final details of his exit, which will bring an end to the ordeal he has faced at the club the last six months.
Moffi only has a contract until 2027 with OGC Nice as he spent last season on loan at FC Porto. An ACL injury was one of the reasons for his difficult time at Nice after starring for fellow Ligue 1 club Lorient, but he was also physically attacked by Nice fans just before his loan move to Porto.
